droidhackzz Monday, January 19, 2015

Well here i will discuss about installing a custom recovery & its use fullness.
Usefullness:::
The Android comes with a stock recovery installed but this recovery is no better than junk. The custom recovery if we talk in real sense is a real recovery as compared to above mentioned JUNK...
The custom recovery gives you::
★ The power to recover your device yourself.
★To install custom ROMs and zips.
★To let you tweak your Android without any fear of bricking.
★To create a full backup of your device known as nAndroid backup.
★To flash back the nandroid backup whenever necessary.
★To create a system partition.
★Flash custom zips to improve the performance and look of your device.

OK now comes the steps to install it...

If you don't find an official version of the recovery above. Then use Google..
Example:: My device is Micromax a177 . so i will search in google
"" How to install CWM or TWRP recovery on Micromax a177""

Simple replace Micromax a177 by your device name thatz it..
.
.
.
Now if you successfully install a recovery then the most important thing::
Create a nandroid backup.
It is easy to create a nandroid backup boot into the recovery mode( by holding power+volume up, or power+volume down, or power+home button for 10 seconds after switching off)
There select create a nandroid backup ....
Use volume keys to navigate and power key to select.
Wait for the process to complete ...

It takes 4-5 minutes ..

When finished you're then ready to customise your phone your way which i will discuss in my next topic...
